[ The girl doesn't move. Instead she just sits there, allowing Jinx to lean against her, even going as far as lowering her head onto Chizuru's shoulder. She's still mentally fussing a little bit over that last comment, b-but she likes to think Jinx didn't mean it in an unkind way.. It's probably just that she didn't know what else to say, right?

(After all, who is annoyed by someone and then instantly leans on their shoulder? That's clearly not how it works, even Chizuru knows that.) ]

You.. can stay like that, if you want.

[ A slight pause, and then she adds: ]

Until we're all the way back to the ground, I mean.

[ Since otherwise it's going to be a little hard to get out of this carriage.. But until then? Chizuru definitely isn't bothered by this in the slightest. ]

Mmm...

( it looks as if she'll take up on this offer; resting along her shoulder with her eyes slowly fluttering open. lazily, she idly doodles little swirls and lines over the back of chizuru's hand. there's something brewing in her mind -- gears are turning, but she's seeking for the right words to form them into a coherent sentence. )

— Thanks for... being out here with me. I know I haven't shown it, but I've been pretty nervous.

( hums a little chuckle at the sudden thought that flies by in her head. )

Haven't been slap yet so I must be doin' right with this dating thing.

[ Chizuru seems to take those words in with a momentary quiet contemplation - though it doesn't take too long for her to speak up. She isn't looking at Jinx, since it's a little hard in their current position, so Chizuru is just staring at the scenery as she speaks. ]

There's no need to be nervous..

[ Pot, kettle.

But Chizuru wouldn't be Chizuru if she wasn't constantly trying to put other people at ease as much as she can. ]

We're just out here together to have fun, right..?

Yyyyeap! 'Least I am. And if you're not, we still got plenty of stuff linin' up to twist that mood around.

( which does finally get the ferries wheel back in motion for them to reach the ground again. )

Just wait 'till we get to the food. My favorite part of anything.

( jinx removes her head off the girl's shoulder and sits more upright -- doing little twists and such to stretch any sore muscles. )
