Vira-Lorr | Record of Agarest War
Speed Dating from Hell
But, after a moment, she flopped into a couch across from the other person, trying not to worry if she knew them well or not. "Just... so we're clear? I'm not really available that way." She grunted. "But that doesn't mean we can't have a pleasant conversation. And... if your omni is telling you anything funny about me? Ignore it." Not that it was lies. Just ignore it.
lol i had too
Says Abby as she walks on in, potentially replacing the other person. It was probably better to not look at Abigail's own, omni. In fact, a person really shouldn't look at it. At least not for very long.
"Are you not enjoying yourself, though?"

"It hasn't been too bad. I don't love being coerced to be here, but meeting new people can be fun."

Bad Luck Schmad Luck
She was getting sick of banging her head into the doors as they slammed into her face, and she definitely showed every sign of having reached a more risky level of threat from the bad luck, but Vira-Lorr was trying to soldier her way through. You know, she might even have managed this were it not for the fact that she had just blown into the building she found, shivering, freezing and far too weakly dressed.
"Damnit. It wasn't snowing when I walked out of my house," she snarled, shaking the water out and looking around. Where the hell was she anyway?
Option 2)
"Do you think this will work?" She was looking at the little object the seller was offering, a bag of mushrooms in one hand ready for trade. Was she the one suffering bad luck, or were you? It didn't matter. there was one major problem as they had explained the ritual and she looked concerned by it. "I don't know if my blood won't just burn its way through this."
'Oh! Miss, I offer special varnishes that can handle the toughest vileblood toxins!' They assured her with all of the charm of a used car salesman. She didn't look convinced yet...
Option 1:
"Vira-lorr? You're drenched, what happened?"
Makoto went over and pulled off the wrap she was wearing and offered it to her friend. It seemed like she was suffering from the same as everyone else this month.

Suddenly, she felt the offer of the wrap and took it gratefully, starting to use it to try and wrap up, shivering some. "thank you. I don't want to just treat this like a towel though!"

Option 2
"You're going to burn right through that charm," he said in his growly voice. "Seems fake. Perhaps require a refund if it doesn't work." He was fully willing to see her use the charm right here and now and burn holes in the place when it didn't work.

The native seemed a little affronted. 'How bad could it possibly be, miss?' they said incredulously as she took a pin out and pricked her finger, letting it hit the ground and sizzle right through a piece of stone pavement. Their eyes popped and their nose wrinkled while they covered their mouth and it with a cloth. 'oh my.'
"Do you have a stronger charm by chance?" she asked, which had them grabbing it and scurrying into the shop. "You know, Reaper... some days I hate this blood of mine, but it does have its uses. Shocking Trenchies being one of them."

The Snow Maiden Cometh
She was the sort of person who was free with her affections with friends, so she was very easy to encounter someone getting furious with her out of the blue, not even realizing that her tendency to be physically affectionate might very well cause such a consternation. In the moment that she was first accosted she looked a little shocked. "What?" she said, as if trying to figure out if she'd heard them wrong.
You Take My Breath Away (TDM Prompt: CW Choking)
She nearly doubled over as the force of the air being taken from her lungs brought her to a knee. Vira-Lorr was fighting back the urge to cough and gripping her throat, looking at the person nearby, only to see that they were in the same sort of distress. Her throat felt like a tighten was clenching over it and she stumbled in their direction, looking desperate. She had to get to them, to help them, not even realizing that this desire was very much what they had to do to survive.
Go Away Riteior - Ritual, Month 2
Either way, she was currently in a ritual chamber, waiting for her partner for the evening. A few extra samples were set aside, along with a copious amount of the mushrooms, freshly harvested. It was a lot of work to keep getting them, but dealing with this curses would not happen if they weren't assiduous. "Thank you for coming," she said as she heard the door open.

"Sure, you had me at 'hello, come help me with a blood ritual'. What guy would say no?"
no subject
"Now now, Lance. I've only killed my friends horribly in blood rituals occasionally," she said with a nasty little wink and a smirk. "God, but this is actually something that could be a pickup line in this world isn't it?"

It's Just Bling, and there's Nothing Sus About This At All (Closed to Chloe Price)
As her eyes scanned the restaurant, fashionably late for a lunch meeting she mentally just sighed. Look, she was not above asking her friend out to lunch if that was the only way to make sure that she found her now and again. With this particular friend? She knew that it was the only way to guarantee that she'd find her. Free food was a bribe, but she wasn't above it.
She made a mental note. Do not discuss bonds of any kind with Chloe. That would go ... poorly.

It doesn't take her long to spot her when she finally arrives at the restaurant. She feels a little underdressed in comparison, with her ripped dark jeans and a shirt covered in dried paint, but when did she really make herself look fancy anyway? Chloe goes to sit across from her friend, clasping her hands in front of her and letting them rest on the table top.
"Sup?"

Slipping into a seat, she looked down at those hands, taking a moment to stare as if trying to think. "So. Haven't had any trouble with the Chocolatier, I hope?" Look, she was not going to resort to 'how about that weather.' Admittedly, magical chocolate was something that both of them had ample reason to watch out for. But there weren't topics in Trench that didn't come with baggage.
... she probably needed to not mention the bastard had given her a box of them this year. She hadn't eaten them, but she had them.

Cursed chocolate was like a dime a dozen in Deerington. She isn't surprised it's carried over to this place.
"Had any ghost bitches take over your body yet?"

Neopolitan | RWBY
Putting Herself Out There (Speed Dating)
When she took a seat, she had a smile on her face. There was no tell while she brought her omni out to type. Deep down, though? She was a lot more nervous than she let on, given that she really didn't look to meet new people that much. her fingers typed as a blur, the words appearing in a hologram between them.
Name's Neopolitan. You want to start this off?
Darkblood to the Rescue (General blood-affected stuff this month)
Walking up to them, she smirked in their direction, tipping their hat and raising an eyebrow. Need a hand? Wait, what were they doing right now? Not that it mattered...
Possession is 9/10ths of the Law
Except it was when she saw someone nearby who looked like they were just happily snuggling, or even just hugging goodbye for the night. That was when something just kind of snapped. The thought of the loneliness of the last year, or of the pain she kept seeing on the network came to her and she changed into the appearance of a local sleeper, charging right up to them, flailing her hands.
You know... it probably would have been a good disguise, if she could actually talk, but she couldn't. But nevertheless there was an irate looking and very quiet girl heading right up to you. What was up with them?
