I can't take credit for the idea. It's an amalgam of a few others.

[The locked tomb of Lazarus' dreams, the entire concept of a 'detective' and the role they serve in law enforcement, the dungeon delving he's done in and out of the city. The world itself is a mystery, and he's only condensed it to a handful of rooms.

(Light didn't actually credit him with the idea, but deferring the source of inspiration elsewhere is more a rhetorical redirection than anything.)]


But I hope he'll find it diverting, even though I aimed for fairness to the other guests - but I'm glad to know it won't be a problem for you. What sort of law enforcement were you involved in?
