You cannot stop me!
[Keith's speed was unrelenting, and he kept up the full charge. When he saw the weapon aimed at him, he attempted to switch from being covered in flames to having icy armor. But ice doesn't work well against lasers, and it burned a hole through the armor enough that Keith actually yelped and stopped advancing for the moment, changing his tactic from a full charge to something more serpentine in approach. He zig-zagged his way closer, making himself harder to hit. And then the Evil, fully aware of Keith's powers, tapped into something Keith hadn't learned he could do, yet.
He crackled with electricity for a mere second before shooting bolts at Manabu.
There was still some distance between them, though. If Manabu were to run, he'd make the lamp before Keith...]

...wait. that voice...is he crazy, or is there something familiar about--
NOPE NEVER MIND THINK ABOUT IT LATER. Magnet's sharp, urgent barking, coupled with Keith's supernatural speed jolts Manabu out of the shock of the voice; he chances a couple more shots before giving that up, turning and racing for the lamp.

Willful Machine! [sure! that one! he shouts it just as he makes a leaping dive and catch the lamppost by the hand and hug close to it, bracing himself for any parting-gift swipes before the fog can fully envelop and spirit him a way.]

For a moment, he thought he had him... his quarry had fallen, curling up in a ball on the ground. He reeled back, ready to throw a long javelin-like icicle... the fog began to gather, and Keith had a feeling as to what that meant. He snarled in anger. No! No! He couldn't let him get away! He flung the ice at the last possible second...
He'd never know if it actually made contact. He roared in frustration as Manabu disappeared.]
