Honestly, "sick" is an understatement when it comes to Falco's current condition. 'Suffering from horrific gooey symptoms because of the weird gooey thing possessing him' is a fair bit harder to explain, and he's not sure how much the younger boy might be comfortable sharing about it. It's... a lot. Peter's very worried about him. There are ways he's been able to help, due to his own possessed situation, but there's also much of it that's unfamiliar to Peter's brand of demon.

It's a very helpless feeling. Which is why, when Luz says what she does, Peter's eyes open wide, hands gently reaching for the basket she offers to him.

"...Oh. Actually.... that would be really nice. If you uh— if you really don't mind."

Maybe he should say differently, do it on his own, but... Peter's painfully aware that he needs help with some of this. He's not someone who's capable of taking care of things very well; that's just... a fact. He's been trying, able to do more over time, but there are still so many ways in which he's lacking, and he's touched by Luz's offer. Not to mention equally concerned about her; he knows she's a tough kid, and that sometimes people like that are the ones to really be worried about.

"And that way I could keep an eye on you, too. If you're seeing weird stuff... I've been helping Luna keep track of what's real and what's not. I could do that for you, too."
